Slat armour

From the Multicrew Tank Combat wiki

Updated 19 September 2026

Slat armour is a cage fitted around a vehicle. It only affects HEAT warheads and rockets.

Every cage has a slat value. It is 40% on most vehicles, 20% on a few and 60% on one.

Hit byWhat slat armour does
Infantry rocketA chance equal to the slat value to stop it outright
HEAT jet that reaches the cage after the warhead went offTakes 16% off its penetration at the usual slat value
EFP that reaches the cage after the warhead went offTakes 40% off its penetration at the usual slat value
HEAT shell, missile or EFP that strikes the cage itselfAlmost nothing. It only loses the few millimetres of the cage
Solid shotNothing

In the Modern loadout, crew can also place slat armour on their own vehicle.
