- The ZBD04A is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle in the same family as China’s ZBD-04, which was influenced by the Soviet BMP-3 and entered PLA service in the 2000s to carry infantry and provide fire support with a large-caliber gun and autocannon. In-game it is a tracked, amphibious vehicle weighing 18.7 tonnes with seating for ten — driver, gunner, commander, and seven passengers — and is powered by a Type 6V150 diesel producing 670 horsepower for 35.8 hp/t, with a top speed of 70 km/h on land and 13 km/h in water. The turret mounts a 100mm ZPL04 gun with an autoloader (including ATGM-capable rounds), a 30mm ZPL02 autocannon, and a 5.8mm QJT machine gun, all stabilized and backed by a laser rangefinder, fire control system with lead and tracking, and Gen 2 white thermals.
