- The Wiesel 1A2 is a Tank Destroyer built on the same Wiesel 1 chassis as the 1A0 and 1A4, developed for German airborne and light forces to provide anti-tank capability in a tiny, air-transportable package. The 1A2 replaces the 20 mm cannon with a BGM-71A TOW missile launcher for long-range engagement of armour. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 2.9 tonnes with a crew of two — driver and gunner — and is powered by an Audi 2.1 diesel producing 87 horsepower for 30 hp/t and a top speed of 80 km/h forward and 25 km/h backward, with neutral steering and an automatic gearbox.
The gunner has Gen 1 white thermals and 3x/13x zoom but no laser rangefinder or stabilizer; the vehicle carries eight TOW rounds and relies on standoff range and mobility rather than armour or smoke. This vehicle features two addons: TOW2A/TOW2B and Airdrop. The TOW2A/TOW2B addon costs 500 points and replaces the stock BGM-71C I-TOW with the BGM-71F TOW 2 series. This upgrade introduces two distinct missile variants: the TOW 2A, which features a tandem warhead and an additional 200 mm of penetration (from 800 mm to 1000 mm), and the TOW 2B, which utilizes a "top-attack" flight profile to strike the thinner roof armor of enemy vehicles with 150 mm of penetration. The Airdrop addon costs 1,500 points and allows the vehicle to deploy at almost any location on the map, enabling flanking maneuvers or the capture of distant enemy objectives.
