It gained a fearsome reputation on the Eastern and Western Fronts for its thick armour and powerful gun, though its weight and complexity limited production to roughly 1,350 units. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 57.3 tonnes, crewed by five — driver, gunner, bow gunner, commander, and loader. The MB HL230 P45 engine delivers 690 horsepower for a 12 hp/t power-to-weight ratio and a top speed of 45 km/h forward and 8.3 km/h in reverse; neutral steering aids maneuvering.
