- The M1A2 SEP V3 is a Main Battle Tank and a late evolution of the American M1 Abrams family, with the SEP (System Enhancement Package) V3 adding improved electronics, networking, and optional Trophy active protection. The Abrams entered service in 1980 and has been upgraded through the M1A1, M1A2, and multiple SEP variants; the V3 represents one of the most capable configurations in production. Crewed by four — driver, gunner, commander, and loader — the tracked vehicle weighs 66.8 tonnes and is powered by a Honeywell AGT1500 gas turbine producing 1,519 horsepower for a 22.7 hp/t power-to-weight ratio and a top speed of 68 km/h.
Main armament is the stabilized 120mm M256 cannon with a laser rangefinder, fire control system with lead computation, and Gen 2 thermals (3x and 10x zoom); secondary weapons include a coaxial 7.62mm M240, a commander 12.7mm M2 in a remote weapon station with FCS and tracking, and a loader 7.62mm M240. The vehicle is fitted with smoke grenades and an engine smoke system. This vehicle features four addons: .50 Coaxial, Loader M134, M829A4 and Trophy APS + TUSK. The .50 Coaxial addon costs 250 points and equips the gunner with an additional 12.7mm M2, enhancing anti-infantry capabilities and foliage clearing. The Loader M134 addon costs 150 points and replaces the loader's stock 7.62mm M240 with the M134 minigun, providing a significant increase in fire rate for anti-infantry and anti-air defense. The M829A4 addon costs 750 points and upgrades the stock M829A3 with M829A4 APFSDS, granting a 50 mm increase to maximum penetration (from 610 mm to 660 mm). Finally, the Trophy APS + TUSK addon costs 750 points and installs the Trophy APS (featuring two launchers with three charges each) alongside the TUSK ERA package; this adds a single layer of ERA to the hull sides, significantly improving survivability against both HEAT rounds and ATGMs.
