- The WZ-122 is a Main Battle Tank representing a family of Chinese prototype designs from the late 1960s and 1970s that explored a 120 mm main gun, composite armour, and missile capability before the Type 99 lineage; the program did not enter series production. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 37.5 tonnes with a crew of four — driver, gunner, commander, and loader — and is powered by a CNGC 12150L diesel producing 650 horsepower for 17.3 hp/t and a top speed of 55 km/h forward and 7 km/h backward.
Main armament is the stabilized 120mm Cannon Type 71, supplemented by a coaxial 7.62mm Type 59, a loader-operated 12.7mm Type 54 machine gun, and a 302 anti-tank missile launcher with four rounds. The gunner has a fire control system and 3.5x/7x zoom on the main sight and 8x on the ATGM sight but no laser rangefinder or thermals; an engine smoke system is fitted. This vehicle features two addons: Dual HMG and Vismod. The Dual HMG addon costs 250 points and equips the loader with an additional 12.7mm Type 54 heavy machine gun; this significantly improves the tank's effectiveness against infantry and provides that extra "oomph" needed for clearing obstructing foliage or shredding light cover. The Vismod addon costs 10 points and adds a cosmetic tow hitch to the front of the vehicle for a more rugged, utilitarian appearance.
