- Description
- The T34 Calliope is a Medium Tank — a Sherman (T34) fitted with the T34 rocket launcher, a frame of 60 M8 4.5-inch rockets over the turret, used by the US Army in the latter part of the Second World War for saturation fire. In-game it weighs 32.5 tonnes and is crewed by five — driver, gunner, bow gunner, commander, and loader. The GM 6046 diesel delivers 410 hp for 12.6 hp/t and 47 km/h.
It retains the 75mm M3 main gun and coaxial .30 cal M1919, plus the M8 Rocket rack (60 rounds) for area suppression; the bow gunner has a second M1919. The gun turret is stabilized and has 3x telescope and 1x/6x periscope sights, with no rangefinder or FCS.
