- Description
- The T-64A is a Main Battle Tank, the first major production variant of the Soviet T-64 series, introduced in the late 1960s with a 125 mm smoothbore gun and autoloader; it set the template for later Soviet and Russian MBTs. In-game it weighs 38 tonnes and is crewed by three — driver, gunner, and commander. The HPZ 5TDF diesel delivers 700 hp for 18.4 hp/t and 61 km/h.
The 125mm 2A46 is fed by an autoloader and is complemented by a 7.62mm PKT coaxial and a 12.7mm NSVT on the commander's cupola. The turret has a stabilizer, smoke grenades, and an optical rangefinder with 8x main sight and FCS, but no thermals. Engine smoke is available for screening.
