- The T-15 Armata is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle and the heavy IFV of the Russian Armata family, sharing the same chassis and powertrain lineage as the T-14 Armata main battle tank. It was designed to transport and support dismounted infantry while carrying substantial firepower and protection. The 41-tonne tracked vehicle carries a crew of three plus eight passengers and is powered by a 12N360 diesel producing 1,500 horsepower for 36.6 hp/t, with a top speed of 80 km/h in both directions, neutral steering, and an automatic gearbox.
The turret mounts a stabilized 30mm 2A42M autocannon, a 7.62mm PKT, and 9M133 Kornet ATGMs, with laser and missile warning systems, smoke grenades, and an APS with 10 launchers (70–2,000 m/s interception). The vehicle also has an engine smoke system and optional Kinzhal turret addon. This vehicle features a single addon: Kinzhal Turret. The Kinzhal Turret addon costs 1,250 points and replaces the stock turret with the advanced Kinzhal modification, which centers around a high-velocity 57mm 2A90 cannon firing a versatile ammunition suite including 3UBM22, BR-281U, OR-281U, and 3UO8. By utilizing the 3UBM22 APFSDS, the vehicle nearly doubles its maximum penetration compared to the stock 30mm 3UBR11 (increasing from 97 mm to 187 mm), significantly enhancing its anti-tank lethality at the cost of a reduced fire rate (dropping from 550 RPM to 120 RPM) and a much smaller ammunition pool of only 80 rounds. Furthermore, the tactical shift is completed by replacing the 4 stock 9M133 Kornet missiles with 2 of the slightly less powerful but still adequate 9M120-1 Ataka ATGMs.
