- The T-10M is a Heavy Tank and the final production variant of the Soviet IS-8 / T-10 series, which succeeded the IS-3 and served as the Red Army's last dedicated heavy tank into the 1960s. The M modernization added a two-plane stabilizer, improved 122mm M-62-T2S gun, and infrared equipment. The 50-tonne tracked vehicle is crewed by four and powered by a V12-6B diesel producing 750 horsepower for 15 hp/t and 50 km/h.
The main armament fires APDS (C) (3BM-11), HEAT (3BK-9), AP (BR-472), and HE (OF-472) with a 10-second reload; a coaxial 14.5mm KPVT provides secondary fire. The gunner has an FCS and 3.1x / 8x magnification but no laser rangefinder. An optional Falanga ATGM addon can be fitted for guided engagement. The T-10M combines heavy armour and a powerful 122 mm gun with mechanical lead computation for improved accuracy. This vehicle features a single addon: Falanga ATGM. The Falanga ATGM addon costs 750 points and equips the T-10M with the 9M17M MCLOS ATGM. This addition significantly boosts the tactical versatility of the already formidable T-10M by allowing it to engage targets behind cover or at extreme ranges where the primary kinetic rounds might lose effectiveness.
