- Description
- The Object 775 is an Anti-Tank Missile Carrier — a Soviet experimental vehicle from the 1960s that mounted a 125 mm smoothbore gun firing Rubin and BUR ATGMs from a low, flat hull with active suspension. Only prototypes were built. Weighing 35.5 tonnes, it is crewed by two: driver and commander. The HPZ 5TDF diesel produces 700 hp for 19.7 hp/t and 66 km/h; ride-height adjustment is available.
The 125mm D-126 is fed by an autoloader (6-second cycle) and carries Rubin and BUR missiles; a 7.62mm PKT is mounted for local defence. The commander has a stabilizer and FCS with 4x–10x zoom; the driver has a separate stabilized sight. An engine smoke system is fitted. The Object 775’s minimal silhouette and missile armament make it a long-range tank hunter with a small crew footprint.
