- Description
- The MH-60L DAP is a Utility Helicopter and a heavily armed variant of the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, configured as a Direct Action Penetrator (DAP) for the US Army's 160th SOAR. The DAP role adds fixed forward-firing guns and rockets for escort and ground-attack missions. In-game it is crewed by a pilot and co-pilot with space for ten passengers.
The co-pilot station is equipped with a laser rangefinder, Gen 3 white thermals, fire control system with lead and tracking, and a 3x–63.5x zoom sight, plus laser warning and missile approach warning systems and flares. The pilot turret mounts M229 Hydra-70 rocket pods (38 rounds), with optional addons for additional Hydras and AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. Both stations have stabilizers. The DAP can thus engage armour and soft targets at range while retaining situational awareness and defensive countermeasures.
