- The M939 is a Supply Truck, part of the US Army's M939 series of 5-tonne 6×6 cargo trucks that replaced the M39 series from the 1980s onward. Built by AM General and others, it served as the standard medium tactical truck for hauling cargo, towing, and supporting forward units. The 11-tonne wheeled vehicle has a driver and seating for six passengers, and is powered by a 6CTA8.3 IMO 1 diesel producing 240 hp for a 21.8 hp/t power-to-weight ratio and a top speed of 89 km/h. It has no armament or defensive systems and is intended purely for logistics; optional addons include a flat bed and tent cover for cargo configuration.
