- Description
- The KV-220 is a Heavy Tank, an experimental Soviet vehicle from 1941 that paired the KV-1 hull with a new turret and the 85mm F-30 gun in place of the standard 76 mm. Only one prototype was completed before the siege of Leningrad interrupted further work. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 62.4 tonnes with a crew of five — driver, gunner, bow gunner, commander, and loader — and is powered by a V-2SN diesel producing 850 horsepower for 13.6 hp/t and a top speed of 34 km/h.
The main armament is the 85mm F-30 with AP, HE, and sub-calibre rounds and a 7.8-second reload; a coaxial 7.62mm DT-28 serves as secondary armament, with additional DT-28s in the commander and bow positions. The commander and bow gunner turrets have stabilizers. Sights are 2.5x telescope and periscope with no rangefinder.
