The Bumpee is a Hybrid Combat Vehicle that mounts an IFV-style turret with a 73mm 2A28 gun and 9M14M ATGM on a light wheeled chassis, offering mobile firepower at minimal weight. The combination is unconventional and reflects a low-cost, high-mobility concept. The 6 t wheeled vehicle carries a driver, gunner, and three passengers and reaches 84 km/h forward. The YaMZ-5347-10 diesel produces 215 hp for a 35.8 hp/t power-to-weight ratio.
The 73mm 2A28 fires OG-9 and PG-9; a coaxial 7.62mm PKT and a 9M14M MCLOS ATGM are fitted. The gunner has a 6x sight without rangefinder or stabilizer. The vehicle has no smoke system and relies on speed and small size for survival.
This vehicle features two addons: BMP-1PK Conversion and No Trunk. The BMP-1PK Conversion costs 1,000 points and replaces the stock 9M14M Malyutka MCLOS ATGMs with 9M113 Konkurs SACLOS ATGMs. This significantly boosts combat effectiveness by increasing penetration by 100 mm (from 400 mm to 500 mm) while providing a much more intuitive guidance system. The "No Trunk" addon is free and removes the cover on the trunk.
