- The BTR-4 is an Armoured Personnel Carrier developed by Ukraine in the 2000s, featuring an 8×8 layout, a 30mm 2A72 cannon in a stabilized turret, and optional Stugna-P ATGM. It was designed for troop transport, fire support, and scouting and has been used in Ukrainian service. The 28 t wheeled vehicle carries a driver, gunner, commander, and eight passengers and is amphibious at 4 km/h, with a top speed of 110 km/h. The 3TD-4 diesel produces 600 hp for 21.4 hp/t and an automatic gearbox.
The 30mm 2A72 and 7.62mm PKT are in a stabilized turret with smoke grenades; the Stugna-P is a separate ATGM station. The gunner has a laser rangefinder, Gen 2 thermals, 4x–12x zoom, and FCS with lead. This vehicle features two addons: GROM Turret and Cage Armour. The GROM Turret addon costs 1,000 points and completely overhauls the vehicle's armament. First, the primary weapon is upgraded from the 30mm 2A72 to the 30mm ZTM-2; second, the vehicle receives a VOG-17M 30mm AGS; and finally, the capacity for Stugna-P missiles is doubled. The Cage Armour addon costs 500 points and adds slat armor to the hull and turret. This provides increased protection against CE rounds and early-generation ATGMs. The Cage Armour applies to the stock turret only.
