- Description
- The Kornet D BMD-4M is an Anti Tank Missile Carrier based on the BMD-4M chassis, with the main turret replaced by a dedicated 9M133 Kornet ATGM launcher. The “D” denotes a vehicle-mounted Kornet-D system for long-range anti-tank work. In-game it weighs 15 tonnes with a crew of three and is tracked and amphibious (4 km/h), with active suspension. The UTD-29 diesel produces 500 hp for 33.3 hp/t and 70 km/h.
The Kornet launcher has eight ready ATGMs and 16 reloads (9M133 and 9M133F-1) with 4 s reload and 7 s refill. The gunner has dual sights with laser rangefinder, FCS with lead and tracking, and Gen 2 white thermals at 6x–19x. The turret is stabilised and has smoke grenades; the vehicle has an engine smoke system.
