The UAZ 469 is a Transport Vehicle and the in-game representation of the Soviet and Russian UAZ-469, a 4×4 light utility vehicle produced by Ulyanovsky Avtomobilny Zavod since the early 1970s. The real vehicle has been widely used by military, police, and civilian operators for personnel transport, liaison, and towing in rough terrain. In-game it is a wheeled vehicle weighing 1.7 tonnes with seating for five — a driver and four passengers — and no armament. A 2445cc UMZ diesel produces 75 horsepower for an exceptionally high 45.5 hp/t power-to-weight ratio and a top speed of 105 km/h forward and 22 km/h reverse. The vehicle is suited to rapid movement of small teams between positions.
