- Description
- The RBT-5 is a Light Tank, a Soviet interwar experiment that fitted the BT-5 with two TT-250 “tank torpedoes” — large demolition rockets for breaching fortifications — in addition to its 45 mm gun. Only a handful were built. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 11.5 tonnes with a crew of three (driver, gunner, loader). The M-5-400 diesel produces 400 horsepower (34.8 hp/t) for 51 km/h.
The gunner has the 45mm 20-K cannon, a 7.62mm DT-28 machine gun, and two TT-250 rockets; the 2.5x telescope and periscope offer no rangefinder or stabilizer. The TT-250s provide a single heavy punch before the vehicle relies on the 45 mm and MG.
