- Description
- The LAV-AT is an Anti Tank Missile Carrier based on the LAV-25 wheeled chassis, armed with a BGM-71C I-TOW launcher in an elevated turret — the wheeled analogue of the M901 ITV. The US Marine Corps and other users fielded LAV-AT for rapid deployment and flank security. In-game it weighs 12.9 tonnes with a crew of three and is wheeled and amphibious (4 km/h). The Detroit 6V53T diesel produces 300 hp for 23.3 hp/t and 100 km/h.
The I-TOW launcher has two ready tubes and eight reloads with 4 s reload and 7 s refill; the gunner has Gen 1 red thermals at 3x and 13x. The commander has a 7.62mm M240 and a stabilised 1x sight. Smoke grenades are fitted; there is no laser rangefinder or FCS.
