- Description
- The JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) is a Transport Vehicle and the planned successor to the Humvee, developed by Oshkosh for the US Army and Marine Corps to improve payload, mobility, and survivability. The program was won in 2015 and JLTVs are entering service in large numbers. In-game it is a wheeled vehicle weighing 10.2 tonnes with a crew of four — driver, commander, and two passengers — and a 6.6 L Gale Banks Engineering 866T diesel producing 400 horsepower for 39.2 hp/t and 110 km/h forward.
The commander turret is stabilized and mounts a 30mm M230LF, a 7.62mm M240, and FIM-92K Stinger MANPADS. Add-ons include a BGM-71F turret, XM914 FGM-148 swap, and B-Kit armour for increased protection.
