Weighing 21 tonnes with a three-man crew, it is powered by a **VTA-903T** diesel producing 600 horsepower for 28.6 hp/t and reaches 80 km/h forward and 16.8 km/h in reverse with neutral steering. Main armament is the **105mm M68A1** rifled gun fed by an autoloader with an 8-round ready magazine and a 6-second cycle, plus a coaxial **7.62mm M240** and a commander’s **7.62mm M60D**. The gunner has a laser rangefinder, fire control system, and first-generation green thermals with 8x optical zoom. The turret is stabilized and the vehicle is fitted with smoke grenades; optional TOW launchers add anti-tank missile capability.
