Description
: The **T-84-120** is a Main Battle Tank variant of the Ukrainian [T-84](/md/rv/vehicles/t-84.md) fitted with a **120mm KBM-2** smoothbore gun compatible with NATO 120 mm ammunition, developed for export customers that use Western tank rounds. Weighing 48 tonnes with a three-man crew, it shares the **KMDB 6TD-2** diesel with the Oplot-M — 1,200 horsepower for 25 hp/t — and reaches 70 km/h forward and 31 km/h in reverse with neutral steering.
The **120mm KBM-2** is fed from a bustle autoloader with a 6-second cycle and can fire **DM12** HEAT-MP, **KONUS** APFSDS, **M322** APFSDS, and other compatible rounds; a coaxial **7.62mm PKT** and commander’s **12.7mm NSVT** are standard. The T-84-120 has a laser warning system, stabilizer, smoke grenades, and engine smoke. The gunner has a laser rangefinder, fire control with lead, and second-generation thermals; the commander has a 1x–8x cupola sight.
This vehicle features a single addon: **Improved Ammunition**. The Improved Ammunition addon costs 250 points and replaces the stock M322 APFSDS with the DM53 APFSDS INCENDIARY ANTI-ERA; this advanced round provides an additional 69 mm of maximum penetration and introduces a 2x spall multiplier, significantly enhancing the T-84-120's anti-tank performance.
