The T-72B entered Soviet service in the mid-1980s; the B1 designation originally indicated a version without the 9K120 Svir ATGM system, and later modernizations such as the 2022 configuration have added thermals and the **ChTZ V-92S2F** engine. Crewed by three, the 46-tonne tracked vehicle develops 1,130 horsepower for a 24.6 hp/t ratio and a top speed of about 61 km/h. The stabilized **125mm 2A46M** is fed by an autoloader (3BM59 APFSDS, 3BK18M HEAT, 3OF26 HE) and is served by a laser rangefinder, fire control system, 8x optical sight, and a Gen 1 thermal sight. A coaxial **7.62mm PKT** and a commander's **12.7mm NSVT** provide secondary fire; smoke grenades and engine smoke are available. This vehicle features a single addon: **Anti-Drone Cage**. The Anti-Drone Cage addon costs 150 points and equips the vehicle with a reinforced steel structure, commonly referred to as a "cope cage", over the turret. This overhead protection is designed to prematurely detonate or deflect munitions dropped from drones, providing a vital layer of security against FPV's.
