Description
: The **Rosomak** is an Armoured Personnel Carrier, the Polish licence-built variant of the Finnish **Patria AMV** (Armoured Modular Vehicle), in service since the 2000s. In-game it is an 8×8 wheeled, amphibious vehicle weighing 22 tonnes with a crew of three and eight passengers, capable of 4 km/h in water. The **Scania DC 13** diesel produces 600 horsepower (27.3 hp/t) for 100 km/h forward. The turret mounts a **30mm Treemaster** autocannon and a coaxial **7.62mm PKT**. The vehicle has a laser warning system, stabilizer, smoke grenades, and an FCS with lead computation; the gunner’s sight has a laser rangefinder and Gen 3 white-hot thermals with 2x–12x zoom.
This vehicle features two addons: **Spike ATGM** and **Composite Package**. The Spike ATGM addon costs 1,250 points and equips the Rosomak with two turret-mounted Spike LR Fire-and-Forget (F&F) ATGMs; these missiles possess 1,100 mm of maximum penetration, transforming the Rosomak into an even more credible anti-tank threat. The Composite Package addon costs 500 points and reinforces the hull sides with an additional composite layer, increasing protection against chemical energy (CE) rounds; however, this upgrade comes at the cost of removing the vehicle's amphibious capabilities due to the added weight.
