Description
: The **Pz.III M** is a Medium Tank and a late-production variant of the German Panzer III, which formed the backbone of the Wehrmacht’s armoured divisions until heavier Allied tanks forced upgrades. The Ausf. M introduced improvements such as side skirts and a long-barrelled 50 mm gun. The vehicle weighs 23 tonnes and is crewed by five: driver, gunner, bow gunner, commander, and loader. The **MB HL120 TRM** diesel delivers 296 hp for 12.9 hp/t and a top speed of 53 km/h.
Main armament is the **50 mm KwK39** with PzGr 39 and Sprgr. 38 ammunition, paired with coaxial and bow **7.92mm MG34** machine guns; the turret has smoke grenades. The gunner uses a 2.5x telescope sight without rangefinder, while commander and bow positions have stabilized **7.92mm MG34** mounts for anti-infantry and local defence.
