Team : Hawk Republic # Object 477 Role : Prototype Main Battle Tank ## [General information](/md/rv/vehicles/object-477.md#general-information) Description : The **Object 477** is a Prototype Main Battle Tank developed in the Soviet Union as part of the late Cold War next-generation tank programs, competing with designs that would eventually influence the T-14 Armata lineage. It was conceived as a heavily armed, crew-in-hull concept with a 152 mm main gun and coaxial autocannon. In its in-game representation it weighs 55 t, is crewed by three (driver, gunner, commander), and is powered by a **KMDB 6TD-A** diesel rated at 1,500 hp for 27.3 hp/t and 62 km/h forward. The **152 mm 2A73** is fed by an autoloader with a 4.5 s cycle and fires APFSDS and Grifel-3 rounds; a **30 mm 2A42M** and **7.62 mm PKT** provide secondary fire. The vehicle has a laser rangefinder, fire control system with lead and tracking on thermals (Gen 2), laser warning, stabilizer, smoke grenades, and engine smoke. No APS is fitted.
