Team : Eagle Federation # M60A1 Add-On Stabilization Role : Main Battle Tank ## [General information](/md/rv/vehicles/m60a1-add-on-stabilization.md#general-information) Description : The **M60A1 addon Stabilization** is a Main Battle Tank, an **M60A1 Patton** fitted with addon Stabilization (AOS) to allow accurate firing on the move. The M60A1 was the principal production model of the M60 family, with a redesigned turret and improved armour; AOS was a key upgrade during the Cold War. The 48-tonne tracked vehicle is crewed by four and powered by an **AVDS-1790-2** diesel producing 750 hp for 15.6 hp/t and 48 km/h. The stabilized **105mm M68** is the main armament, with an optical rangefinder and fire control system but no thermals; ammunition includes HEAT (M456), APFSDS (M728), HEP (M393A2), and smoke (M416). A coaxial **7.62mm M240** and commander's **12.7mm M85** are fitted. Smoke grenades are available as an addon; the vehicle has an engine smoke system.
