Description
: The **M48 "Pereh"** (Hebrew: “ferret”) is an Anti-Tank Missile Carrier based on the [M48 Patton](/md/rv/vehicles/m48a3-patton.md) hull, used by Israel to disguise long-range **Spike** ATGM launchers as conventional tanks. The real Pereh mounted a fake gun barrel and carried Spike missiles for standoff strikes while presenting the silhouette of a standard M48. In-game it weighs 44.9 tonnes with a crew of three — driver, gunner, and commander — and is tracked. The **AV1790** diesel delivers 830 horsepower for 18.5 hp/t and 45 km/h top speed, with neutral steering and an automatic transmission.
Primary armament is the **Spike ATGM** in manual and fire-and-forget modes; a **7.62 mm FN MAG 60-40** is mounted in the gunner and commander positions. The gunner has Gen 1 white thermals and a tracking capability for the ATGM; smoke grenades are fitted for defensive screening.
