Description
: The **M2A1 Bradley** is an Infantry Fighting Vehicle and the first major production **M2 Bradley**, fielded from the mid-1980s to carry infantry and engage armour with a 25 mm cannon and TOW missiles. It saw combat in the Gulf War and later conflicts. Weighing 22.3 tonnes, it carries a driver, gunner, commander, and seven passengers and is tracked. The **VT903** diesel produces 507 horsepower for 22.7 hp/t, 66 km/h top speed, neutral steering, and an automatic transmission.
Armament includes the **25 mm M242 Bushmaster** autocannon, a **7.62 mm M240** machine gun, and **BGM-71A TOW** ATGMs. The turret has a stabilizer, a fire control system, and Gen 1 red thermals (4x/12x and 3.3°/1.1° thermal fields of view); there is no laser rangefinder. Smoke grenades and an engine smoke system are fitted.
This vehicle features a single addon: **I-TOW**. The I-TOW addon costs 500 points and replaces the standard BGM-71A TOW with the BGM-71C I-TOW; this significantly boosts combat effectiveness by increasing penetration by 390 mm (from 410 mm to 800 mm).
