Description
: The **KV-5** is a Super Heavy Tank, a Soviet design study from 1941 that proposed a 100-tonne breakthrough vehicle mounting a powerful 107 mm gun. The project was never built — the German advance and resource shortages led to its cancellation — but it remains a well-known paper design. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 100 tonnes with a crew of five: driver, gunner, bow gunner, commander, and loader. The **V-2K** diesel delivers 600 horsepower for a modest 6 hp/t and a top speed of 40 km/h forward and 11 km/h reverse.
The main armament is the **107mm ZIS-6** cannon with OF-420 and B-420 ammunition and a 16-second reload; secondary armament consists of three **7.62mm DT-28** machine guns in the main turret, commander’s cupola, and bow position. The vehicle has no stabilizer or rangefinder and uses 2.5x telescope and periscope sights.
