Description
: The **FV721 Fox** is a Reconnaissance Vehicle, a British wheeled armored car that entered service in the 1970s and was used for scouting and security roles; it shared the **30mm L21A1** Rarden cannon with the FV510 Warrior for commonality. Weighing 6.1 tonnes with a crew of three — driver, gunner, and commander — it is highly mobile, with a **Jaguar J.60 No 1 Mk 100B** diesel producing 190 hp for 31.1 hp/t and a top speed of 105 km/h in both directions.
The gunner has a **30mm L21A1** and coaxial **7.62mm L37A2**, with smoke grenades and a fire control system; the main sight offers 10x magnification with no rangefinder. Light armour and wheeled layout suit it to hit-and-run and reconnaissance rather than sustained combat.
