Description
: The **CS/SA5** is a wheeled Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft vehicle that combines a 30 mm autocannon with short-range surface-to-air and anti-tank missile capability, representative of modern Chinese dual-role air-defense systems. It is fully amphibious at 4 km/h and weighs 26 tonnes, with a crew of five — driver, gunner, commander, and two passengers — and a top road speed of 90 km/h. The **CA6DL2-35E3R** diesel delivers 380 horsepower for 14.6 hp/t.
The primary weapon is the **30mm Type 625** autocannon with HE, HE-VT, and APDS ammunition and a 1,000-round magazine; it is paired with **FB-10A** surface-to-air/anti-tank missiles (eight carried). The turret has a laser warning system, stabilizer, and smoke grenades, and the sight suite includes a laser rangefinder, third-generation thermals, fire control with lead and tracking, and 6x–19x zoom.
