Description
: The **Tiger I** is a Heavy Tank, formally the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E, produced by Henschel & Sohn for Nazi Germany from 1942. It gained a fearsome reputation on the Eastern and Western Fronts for its thick armour and powerful gun, though its weight and complexity limited production to roughly 1,350 units. In-game it is a tracked vehicle weighing 57.3 tonnes, crewed by five — driver, gunner, bow gunner, commander, and loader. The **MB HL230 P45** engine delivers 690 horsepower for a 12 hp/t power-to-weight ratio and a top speed of 45 km/h forward and 8.3 km/h in reverse; neutral steering aids maneuvering.
Primary armament is the **88 mm KwK36** cannon, with two **7.92mm MG34** machine guns (coaxial and bow). The turret has smoke grenades but no stabilizer or modern fire control; the gunner uses a 2.5x telescope sight.
