Description
: The **BTR-4** is an Armoured Personnel Carrier developed by Ukraine in the 2000s, featuring an 8×8 layout, a **30mm 2A72** cannon in a stabilized turret, and optional **Stugna-P** ATGM. It was designed for troop transport, fire support, and scouting and has been used in Ukrainian service. The 28 t wheeled vehicle carries a driver, gunner, commander, and eight passengers and is amphibious at 4 km/h, with a top speed of 110 km/h. The **3TD-4** diesel produces 600 hp for 21.4 hp/t and an automatic gearbox.
The **30mm 2A72** and **7.62mm PKT** are in a stabilized turret with smoke grenades; the Stugna-P is a separate ATGM station. The gunner has a laser rangefinder, Gen 2 thermals, 4x–12x zoom, and FCS with lead.
This vehicle features two addons: **GROM Turret** and **Cage Armour**. The GROM Turret addon costs 1,000 points and completely overhauls the vehicle's armament. First, the primary weapon is upgraded from the 30mm 2A72 to the 30mm ZTM-2; second, the vehicle receives a VOG-17M 30mm AGS; and finally, the capacity for Stugna-P missiles is doubled. The Cage Armour addon costs 500 points and adds slat armor to the hull and turret. This provides increased protection against CE rounds and early-generation ATGMs. The Cage Armour applies to the stock turret only.
